We would like to welcome Brian Villa as Nuestras Raíces @RILA first Latinx Oral History Fellow.

Brian Villa is a 2022 graduate of Rhode Island College with a degree in History. His goal is to continue telling the story of Rhode Island Latino History. During his time at RILA Brian hopes to learn how to enrich his community through the arts and storytelling using people places and programming.

Brian will be assisting RILA with setting up interviews, transcribing audio, and ensuring our archival collections is up-to-date. Go here to contact Brian: brian@rilatinoarts.org
