We would like to welcome Diana Figueroa to Nuestras Raíces @RILA!

Diana is not new to RILA: she served as our intern for three semesters while a student at Roger Williams University; she graduated in 2018 with a degree in Preservation, UrbanStudies. With her background & knowledge of Nuestras Raíces, she is the perfect candidate to work on our Latino Archives Collection.

Diana will be RILA’s Cultural Preservation Specialist under a grant from the NEH, and will support the continuation of our community pláticas, organized and led by Yaruska Ordinola during the Summer of 2019.
